Descrição | Endemic to the rainforests of Vietnam, it was named after the French ornithologist Alphonse Milne-Edwards to describe it for the first time to science in 1896. It has red feet and facial skin, the male is mostly dark blue with a white crest and the female is a monotonous brown bird. |
Tamanho | Males 70 to 125 cm and Females from 55 to 90 cm. |
Peso | Males about 1.1 kg and Females 1,05 kg. |
Reprodução na Natureza | Lays 4 to 7 eggs that are incubated for a period of 25 days. |
Reprodução em Cativeiro | Lays 12 to 28 eggs that are incubated for a period of 25 days. |
Localização | Found in forests in the central provinces of Quảng Binh and Quang Tri. |
